Lesbian activity is not illegal but that\u2019s only due to it not being recognised. In traditional African society, same-sex relationships are a cultural taboo, so most Zambians are very conservative in their attitudes towards gays and lesbians, and homosexuality is rarely discussed sensibly in public.
